Calling all experts . . . OR at least those who have been there, done that, and are willing to share their thoughts. In this week’s More Than Mom episode, we’re flipping the script and sharing our own challenges in the hopes that our smart, skilled, and seasoned listeners have the solutions we need. We’re stuck when it comes to a variety of topics such as home organization, the care and keeping of living things, hair maintenance, and sibling bonding screen time. Can you help? Listen and let us know!

Hello,
I am a newer listener, but have really been enjoying The Mom Hour (especially while my 7 month old daughter naps)! Just wanted to leave a thought about Meagan’s hair discoloration problem. I know that the hardness and general quality of your water can have significant effects in your hair. Mineral build up will prevent hair from accepting color well and can discolor hair, not to mention textural changes. I do not personally have a lot of experience with dying my hair at home, but I learned about this issue because I struggled with my (normally very easy) hair a lot when I moved several years ago. I suggest looking into salon demineralization treatments. I hope this helps and thanks for the wonderful podcast!
Best,
Julia
