about

the mom hour

The Mom Hour is a podcast for moms seeking practical tips and real-life encouragement delivered in a fun and inclusive way.  For more than a decade, from 2015-2025, this weekly conversation between Meagan Francis and Sarah Powers, two moms with eight kids between them, reached tens of thousands of mothers from all over the world with the message they were desperate to hear: it’s all going to be okay.

The Mom Hour highlights parenting topics and issues related to motherhood in a tone that is reassuring and real with lots of room for laughter (listeners say it’s like having coffee with their girlfriends). Meagan and Sarah combine their own stories and experiences with practical tips and heartfelt encouragement for busy moms who want to enjoy the parenting journey and cut back on comparison, worry and stress.

As of June 2025, The Mom Hour is no longer releasing new episodes and Meagan and Sarah have moved on to other creative projects. We’ve left our website here for you to browse, and our vast podcast archives (more than 800 episodes!) are available wherever podcasts are found.
