Laundry is is a constant: it’s truly with us every day, week, and month of the year. In this first episode of 2023, Meagan and Sarah focus in on the laundry systems and strategies that are working (or not) in our homes, plus our favorite products, the grossest things we deal with, what’s great (and weird) about our laundry rooms, and how seasons of life change the challenges of keeping up with the laundry. If you wear clothes – or live with people who do – this episode is for you.
As work-from-home moms, we’re perpetually seeking comfort and warmth during the winter months – stopping JUST SHY of living in pajamas 24/7. If your cozy winter wardrobe needs an update or you’re itching to do some post-Christmas shopping, listen to Episode 397 for Meagan’s and Sarah’s cold-weather fashion faves.
I’m vowing to kick off the new year not with more to-do lists or resolutions or even goals to be a better version of myself. Instead, I’m starting things off by creating my own proverbial cozy corner in my life with healing things that make me feel good, force me to slow down, and remind me that my worth has nothing to do with what I may or may not accomplish this year. If you’re looking to get cozy and reduce your stress levels, here are some things to add to your calming toolbox.
I’m sure I’m not the only one fighting an uphill battle to get a handle on all of the STUFF we’ve accumulated during holidays past, it gives me great joy to introduce you to the gift guide full of items your loved ones will appreciate as much as (or more than!) something they have to store, clean up, or take care of.
All of the “gift” ideas included in this guide are consumable in some way—meaning they are items or experiences the recipient will use, enjoy, and, hopefully, remember fondly. And while a few of them are cheats and include tiny items you might need to hold on to for more than a day or two, most are either edible, recyclable, or completely intangible!
I love a practical gift. It might not be super trendy or flashy (see insulated water bottle) but the practical gifts are the ones that I think really can make an impact on a loved one’s day to day life. Hopefully this list of five practical gifts for the work from home mom in your life helps spark some inspiration during this gift-giving season!
As a 3 wing 2, I always want the people around me to feel loved and cared for – and I want to get really GOOD at it so that they continue to feel that love and care. While my intentions may have started with my own desire to be the best at gifting, I think the best part of this experiment was really knowing those around me better and their different motivations and desires that get them through life.
