We’re back with more on the topic of kids’ birthday! Last week’s podcast episode was all about the kids in your house and this week we turn our attention to other people’s parties. Join us as we discuss RSVP etiquette, how and why you might want to opt out of going to EVERY party you’re invited to by a child in your kid’s preschool class, where we shop for affordable birthday gifts, and more.

I loved these birthday episodes! My oldest’s birthday is only a few days before Christmas, so from the get-go we tended toward a relatively low-key birthday, since she practically opens presents for a week straight between everything. We had her first “real” party last year in kindergarten, which conveniently also meant that it could be drop-off and not have to deal with parents! I’m hoping to follow suit with my younger two.
As for other kids’ parties, I do have mine make a card too. I buy packs of premade cards and envelopes at Michaels, and they come in handy for all sorts of things (birthdays, teacher cards, etc).
Love the podcast! I look forward to each episode, thanks so much!
