I’ve got some options for you! First, dry shampoo. I’m a huge dry shampoo fan. It extends my wash routine so that I can go three days between washes (with a toddler and a 6-year old, that’s pretty much amazing). My favorite brand is Living Proof Pefect Hair Day. I get it at Ulta. I love everything about it. It’s lightly scented, and it smells like a salon in a good way. I used it before a date once, and my husband kept remarking about how nice I smelled — dry shampoo: keeping the romance alive;). I’m very sensitive to scents, and this one doesn’t bother me at all. I even love the packaging. Plus it WORKS. I only have to use a tiny bit, and my hair looks perfect. My second best is Baptiste; it’s honestly not even close to Living Proof, but it is cheaper (and much better than Not Your Mother’s).
Second, moisturizer. I have dry skin, so I was shocked when Sarah said she used to just wash her face and go to bed. I would never get away with that! My skin would be so tight! I use Clinique Moisture Surge and Clinique Dramatically Different Lotion. Moisture Surge is great for giving a boost of moisture without feeling at all heavy, so it might be a nice thing to add to your routine. If you don’t need as much moisturizing, I’d recommend just the Dramatically Different Lotion. Clinique has the lotion in a gel form, so it goes on super light, but still has the same benefits; the gel seems like a good option for you since you are used to not wearing anything. It feels the same as using an aloe vera gel. I didn’t love it because I needed a heavier cream for my dry skin, but it might work for you. Clinique is pricey, but it’s an excellent product, and the only one that works for my sensitive skin, so it’s a perfect product for me. 🙂

Glo Skin Beauty Restorative Cream is my nighttime moisturizer. It is light and smooth, and has a clean, fresh fragrance. A little goes a long way. I have been using it for 5 years, and am only on my second jar. The product stays fresh and leaves my face feeling soft and hydrated. I don’t feel like I’m going to sleep with a pile of cream on my face. Just the opposite. I forget I even have it on.

Hi guys! My suggestion is a little non-conventional. I am 41 and am allergic to every beauty product known to man. So as a result, I don’t wear makeup. I have spent the majority of my life trying to find a friendly, non-reaction inducing night time moisturizer. About a year ago I started using Vaseline on my face at night. It is affordable, non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic, and scent free. I wake up with very soft skin since being on this regime. It has also worked wonders for my Eczema. I wish I would have discovered this miracle in a jar in my twenties. Better late than never!

For night cream, I love Weleda Skin food. I bought it originally as a hand cream and was so impressed that I started using it on my face. I have since seen articles and blog posts mentioning that many others have the same idea. I love that it is a natural product that I see real improvement after using with a drug store price point. It is a very heavy cream, so some people dilute it with one of Weleda’s other moisturizers, especially in the summer, but I saw that they recently released a Skin Food Light, which may be a great option too.

Hi Mamas!
I recommend Burt’s Bees Baby Bee Dusting Powder as a dry shampoo – I never used it on my kids. It’s lightly scented. I sprinkle some in my palms and rub/pat it in. I have dark hair and it brushes out enough that it doesn’t show. If I’m thinking ahead I’ll put it in at bedtime. It lasts forever and isn’t very expensive.
I’ve been really happy with the Arbonne RE9 Advanced line of facial products. The night repair cream just the right thickness. I also like to use a serum before my moisturizer.
Thanks for providing informative and entertaining content! I love your show.

I have the perfect sandal for you! They’re a bit expensive but vionics were life changing for me. Amazing arch support and they have a lot of fancier styles. Good luck!!
