With kids back in school, we’re looking at taking care of our bodies through regular exercise. Meagan’s already established a new early morning workout routine with some accountability buddies, and Sarah’s ready to start. We talk about what’s worked in the past when committing to a new fitness routine, what obstacles we have to look out for, and how the reasons behind our desire to work out regularly has changed as we’ve gotten older. Hi! I’ve been enjoying listening for about a year now and have never felt inspired to write a reply or comment before but here I am. The whole time I listened to this episode I was thinking that you need to try MommaStrong! It’s been a game changer for me and it addresses every single one of your hurdles to working out (i.e., driving to the gym, lack of time, professional to tell you what to do, motivation….) I had three kids in as many years and so I really needed something flexible and effective and concentrated on me feeling good and not being sore in the morning (hello, 40s!) rather than looking good in a bikini. My kids are 3, 5, 6 now and it’s even easier to fit in my 15 minutes daily and I. Feel. So. Much. Better.
Check it out. It’s amazing.

Amazing episode that I could really relate to! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and feelings about exercise and ‘normailising’ everything. Having once been a lover of going for a run and pushing hard to now looking for everything excuse I can to not exercise. Everything hurts and the weight continue to grow! Here’s to starting again on a healthy journey.
