Do you remember the libraries of your past? We do. In fact, we have enough to say about the transformative power of libraries to fill an entire More Than Mom episode! From our earliest library memories (grouchy Mrs. Young!), to junior high school library adventures (that book was NOT appropriate for 11-year-old Meagan), to an accidental nap in dreary old England, we look back at our lives through the stacks. Hello Ladies, My name is Leah and I am currently a Fiscal Officer (think Treasurer) for a County Library in southern Ohio. I just listened to this podcast and HAD to comment! Libraries are FABULOUS!! Odds are that your library has a digital library that you can access for free on your phone or ebook device. Some libraries have Hoopla which will have audiobooks, ebooks, movies, music and so much more! In Ohio, we have the Ohio Digital Library and I have 5 library cards from various libraries in the state. It’s a great way to get the book you want and with Hoopla, there are no wait times. Another fun tidbit that I would recommend for the avid reader and the newbie is Goodreads.com. You can create an account and keep track of the books you’ve read, want to read and the ones that you couldn’t finish. You’ll also get book recommendations which are based on the books you’ve already read. I have found that there are a lot of books that I otherwise would not have read. I have only just found your podcast but I am already smiling too much while listening. Keep up the good work!

Hi Leah! Yes! I love our digital loaning options through our libraries (I have 3 different libraries ;)). And Goodreads is also wonderful. Thanks for taking the time to comment!
