For your printer ink problem – try putting a piece of colored tape over the clear section of the printer cartridge where you can see the ink. This can sometimes trick the printer into thinking the cartridge is full. I do this to get the last bit of ink out of a cartridge 🙂
If you have an HP Printer you should sign up for “Instant Ink”. It is an ink service where they will send you as much ink as you need for a flat monthly rate. I print a lot of full color sheets and I don’t think twice about it knowing that I will always have the ink I need. They ship it out when you are getting low so you never run out. It has been a game changer!
